vitordv: no, I don´t use any technique. Just put the seeds on soil and push lightly into the soil. Seeds must be flush with the substrate. As the substrate is used silica sand and peat 2:1. Soil must be wet due better contact seed and water. I have all pots on southern windowsill. without any added lights.
But I´m working on some special light with cree leds for the winter time

every led has 3W, but they will not lightning at full power, just only 2W. Independent control of power for each spectrum.
